Propane-fueled portable heater for outdoor construction sites brings the heat
Blasting 450 cfm of forced hot air, heaters like the Master 170 are a welcome sight at cold construction sites. Also known as a torpedo or salamander heaters because of their distinctive appearance, this high-capacity 170K btu model for outdoor use can heat areas as large as 3,500 square feet. The heater is fueled by propane, while the electric fan is powered by standard 115V electrical service. Overheating and safety are addressed with a flame-out sensor and built-in thermostat control. Althoug this heater is near to 100 percent combustion efficiency, it may produce some levels carbon monoxide, and should only be used outdoors or open sites.
